The Gettysburg Cyclorama is a painting by the French artist Paul Philippoteaux depicting Pickett’s Charge, the climactic Confederate attack on the Union forces during the Battle of Gettysburg on July 3,1863. There are a total of 20,000 men and horses painted on the canvas. The Cyclorama painting measures 377 feet long by 42 feet high from end to end, making it longer than a football field.
